Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Social Policy Committee Prof. Dr. The delegation headed by Vedat Işıkhan was in Edirne for the fifth meeting of "7 Regions and 7 Provinces in Social Policies" on 24.10.2022. EYGEV Edirne Provincial President Mr. The meeting, to which Erdem Mulalar contributed and representatives of different non-governmental organizations and public institutions came together, was held in the Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry meeting hall. Edirne Governor H. Kürşat Kırbıyık, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Security attended the meeting. Mr. prof. Dr. Lutfihak Alpkan, General Manager of Kızılay, Mr. Dr. İbrahim Altan, Rector of Trakya University, Mr. prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu, Member of the Presidential Social Policy Board, Mr. Dr. Murat Yilmaz joined.

 

Drawing attention to the social policy practices implemented in the last 20 years, Prof. Dr. Işıkhan said, "Our government has implemented very important practices in the field of social policies for the last 20 years. Here, rights-based practices are the basis of our social policies. Especially with the income we get from growth, social policies and social assistance are very important in meeting the basic needs of the disadvantaged groups and in the fair distribution of income. "We have completed our meeting in Edirne within the scope of 7 regions and 7 provinces in line with our plans. We have obtained important data. When we return to Ankara as the Board, we will turn it into a report and turn it into a policy phase and present it to our President." said.
